GL/NFER English 11 Plus Exam Papers

GL 11 Plus English papers include a comprehension exercise followed by tests which could test Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation and Vocabulary.

The papers in the vast majority of areas tend to be multiple choice.

The comprehension element will include roughly 16-20 straight comprehension questions (about what happens in the text). This is normally followed by 8-10 questions on vocabulary within the text.

Once these parts are finished then pupils will face three sections on Grammar, Spelling and Comprehension.

GL English tests tend to be 50 minutes long.
