11 Plus Entry Information for Calday Grange Grammar School

Calday Grange Grammar School currently offer a free, grammar school education to nearly 1400 students, with approximately 200 boys in each of Years 7 to 11 and a mixed Sixth Form of nearly 500 students. Access to the school in Year 7 is through an 11 plus examination coordinated by the local authority. Students who wish to join the school in other year groups are required to undertake a computer-based test and achieve a set threshold. Access to the Sixth Form is based upon GCSE grades.

The 11 Plus Exam format for Calday Grange Grammar School is written by GL Assessment. The format of the exam is as follows:

Paper 1	Approximately one hour. Includes questions on Verbal Reasoning, Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Spatial Reasoning
Paper 2	Approximately one hour. Includes questions on Verbal Reasoning, Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning and Spatial Reasoning

How to prepare for the Calday Grange Grammar School 11 Plus Exam
